The 2015, 2016 and 2017 Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award given to Executive Director Brad Ellis by the American College of Health Care Administrators. Of the thousands considered across the nation, only 257 administrators met the requirements. Further, Brad was one of 227 leaders who received the award with virtual recognition, which takes into account rigorous facility quality and performance measures.
The Vermont Quality Award for 2015 and 2016 given by Vermont’s Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living. The Green was one of five nursing homes chosen from the 37 nursing homes in Vermont to be recognized for high standards of quality care.

Requirements
Vernon Green is for elders who require 24-hour nursing services and who either meet annual income and asset criteria or will pay through the Medicare or Medicaid programs. There are no entrance fees and no lease is required. Residents pay a reasonable all-inclusive monthly rent, which includes all nursing care, lodging, meals and activities. Optional amenities such as telephone and cable TV are available.
